GPA Rookie Camp

We are delighted to announce that The 2019 GPA Rookie Camp will take place in Johnstown Estate, County Meath on Saturday November 9th. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural running of the event, the Rookie Camp provides a unique experience for up and coming players to come together for a day to learn about the wide range of programs and support services available to you as inter-county players.

This year, for the first time members from both the GPA and WGPA will be invited to the camp with an acknowledgement of the close relationship and shared needs of male and female inter-county players.

The objective of the day is to assist players in their transtion into a senior intercounty setup, understand what the GPA and WGPA has to offer and how best to maximise your time as inter-county players on and off the field

We will have a number of interactive workshop sessions with special guest speakers and subject matter experts on topics including:

• Building Resilience
• Enhancing self-awareness
• Social Media & Brand Management
• Nutrition
• Anti – Doping
