26 players attend GPA/PwC Development Day
26 inter-county players from across Ireland made their way to PwC’s Dublin offices recently for the inaugural GPA/PwC Development Day. Run as part of the GPA’s BEO360 programme players completed workshops on self-awareness and adaptability, communicating with impact and the tools required to build an authentic personal brand.
BEO360 is a programme developed specifically for inter-county players, aimed at supporting their development under 4 key pillars; Life skills, Dual-Career, Transition and Wellbeing. As part of the programme a number of BEO360 Impact Series events have taken place or are in the pipeline. These are aimed at bringing BEO360 to life. The GPA/PwC Development Day is among those.
The sessions were led by the GPA’s Lead Development Coach Ian Reeves, PwC’s Learning & Development Manager’s Barry Delaney & Katie Dawson. Among those in attendance were 2021 PwC Footballer of the Year Kieran McGeary, 2022 Allianz National League top scorer Sam Mulroy and Galway footballer Ailbhe Davoren.
